1 chopped onion
tablespoon of mixture of garlic and ginger
Two prepared eggs, if desired
Salt, as desired
2-tablespoons of red chilli powder
3/4 teaspoon of powdered turmeric
one teaspoon of powdered cumin
a single teaspoon of red chilli, coarsely chopped (adjust
to taste)
1 chopped tomato; - four tablespoons of butter
Green chilies, six, sliced; garam masala powder, one
teaspoon.
two teaspoons of ginger, finely chopped
1/2 bunch freshly chopped fresh coriander - 1/2 cup oil
1. In a skillet, temperature the oil over a medium-high
flame, then sauté the finely chopped onions until they are golden brown.
2. Stir in the garlic ginger paste and cook for about thirty
seconds to let the flavours merge.
3. Add salt, the powdered turmeric, red chilli powder,
sliced red chilli, and the powdered cumin to the pan along with the finely
diced tomatoes. Sauté the mixture until the oil separates and the herbs and
spices begin to give off their scent.
4. Add the spinach and chickpeas that have been cooked in
the pan. To properly distribute the spices, combine the ingredients. For around
15 minutes, simmer the entire mixture over low heat to let the flavours meld
harmoniously.
5. The boiled eggs may be cut into half and added to the
dish if desired.
6. Add the fresh coriander, butter, ginger that has been
finely minced, sliced green chilies, and garam masala powder to the pan. After
stirring everything together, boil the mixture for an extra five minutes to
allow the flavours combine completely.
7. Taste the dish and taste once more, adjusting the spice
to your liking.
8. If preferred, top the cooked Palak Chana Masala with the
boiled egg halves while it is being served.
9. For a filling and full supper, serve the dish hot with
flatbread or naan.
