Chicken Karahi Recipe for a Delicious Pakistani Dish | Step-by-Step Guide

Ingredients:

one kilos of cut-up chicken
500 grams of chopped tomatoes Garlic and ginger paste


1 teaspoon of red chili powder 1 tablespoon of ground cumin


Garam masala, 1 tablespoon

1 tablespoon of coriander seeds, crushed


5 to 6 chopped green chiles - 1/2 cup ghee or oil One cup of yogurt

To garnish, add fresh coriander leaves or finely sliced ginger. - Salt to taste.

1. Heat a skillet or wok over high heat, then add 1/2 cup of oil or ghee. Let it get warm. 2. Stir in the ginger and garlic paste and cook for a minute in the heated oil or ghee. 3. Add the ginger and garlic paste to the pan along with the chicken pieces. The chicken should be browned after approximately 5 minutes of cooking over medium heat. 4. Next, stir in the chopped tomatoes to the pan. The tomatoes should simmer for approximately five minutes under cover before becoming soft. 5. If preferred, remove the tomato skins and mash the tomatoes with a spoon or spatula. 6. Season the pan with salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and chopped coriander seeds. After combining everything, simmer for another ten minutes while stirring periodically. 7. Add yogurt to the pan and well combine after 10 minutes. For around 10 minutes, when the yogurt is completely dry, cook the chicken in the yogurt. 8. Add chopped ginger or fresh coriander leaves as a garnish to the Chicken Karahi. 9.
