Deliciously Creamy Chicken Korma: A Flavorful Recipe for Your Culinary Adventures

introduction

Hello! I hope you're all doing well. Today, I'm going to prepare a unique dish called "Wedding Style Chicken Korma." I would like to offer you to join my YouTube channel, "Awais Shafique Food Secrets," so you can watch the video of this dish. In today's dish, we will be using various ingredients to create a delicious chicken korma suitable for a wedding.

Here are the given ingredients:

- 1 kilogram chicken

- 4 onions

- 2 cups yogurt

- 1/2 teaspoon ginger and nutmeg powder

- Cardamom pods (as desired)

- 1/8 teaspoon black cardamom powder

- Salt (to taste)

- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

- 10 black peppercorns

- 2 teaspoons red chili paste

- 2 cups oil or ghee

- 3 teaspoons curry powder

- 5 chopped green chilies

- 6 tablespoons freshly chopped coriander

- Garlic and ginger paste

- Cut ginger into long, thin pieces

Let's proceed with the suggested recipe:

1. Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Once it's hot, add black pepper and green cardamom pods and fry for three seconds.

2. Then, add ginger and garlic paste and cook. When the chicken turns white and releases its water, add it to the pan and continue cooking.

3. After about five minutes of cooking the chicken, it should be almost done. In another pan, fry onions in ghee or oil until golden brown.

4. After five minutes, add yogurt, salt, red chili powder, and turmeric powder to the chicken. Keep cooking for five more minutes.

5. You can also use tomato paste instead of yogurt if you prefer. However, yogurt is recommended. Once the chicken is cooked, add black cardamom powder.

6. Add water and kewra essence, and simmer on low heat for approximately 10 minutes.

7. After ten minutes, garnish the dish with freshly chopped coriander leaves, green chilies, and ginger pieces. Serve the korma on a plate and accompany it with rice, naan, or both.
