Delicious Homemade Mixed Pickle Recipe: Bursting with Flavor and Tradition

 



A sour and savory spice called as max achar, or mix pickle, is used in a variety of cuisines. It is made by blending different veggies and spices to create an excellent side dish for dinners. You can make max achar at home using the following recipe:

 

Ingredients: 

two hundred grams of divided raw mango

one hundred grams of julienned carrots

100 grams of lemon.

8 green chilies

100 grams of sliced cucumber 

100 grams of cauliflower

6 entire garlic cloves.

Salt, according to preference

one teaspoon of red chili powder

one teaspoon of turmeric

1 tablespoon each of mustard, fennel, mustard, and fenugreek seeds

1 teaspoon each of nigella seeds

1 cup each of mustard oil

STEP 1

Place the raw a mango, carrot, lemon that has been cut into wedges, green chilies, cucumber, cauliflower, salt, red chili powder, and turmeric in a serving dish. To make sure the spices are spread equally, thoroughly mix them.

STEP 2

Gently toast the nigella, the herb fen mustard, and fennel seeds in a skillet.

STEP 3

Add the mustard oil to the pan and heat it for approximately two minutes so the spices can flavor the oil.

STEP 4

Add the chopped veggies to the pan and stir them around in the prepared oil. Cook for a few minutes, making sure the spices are well infused into the veggies.

STEP 5

Remove the pickle from the heat and let it cool.

STEP 6

Put the Max Achar in a fresh, sealed jar and let it for two to three days so that the flavors may meld.

STEP 7

The pickle is made to be eaten with your favorite dishes after it has reached maturation. Alongside rice, bread, or any other cuisine of your choosing, serve it as a condiment.
