Ingredients:

4 soft rolls or burger buns 4 lettuce leaves 2 tomatoes, sliced 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced 4 slices of cheese (optional)

For the chicken patties:

500g / 1 lb ground chicken (minced) 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp paprika 1 tbsp olive oil

For the garlic mayo:

1/3 cup mayonnaise 1 clove of garlic, minced Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat for perfectly cooked chicken burgers.
In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and olive oil. Mix thoroughly to ensure the flavors are evenly distributed.
Shape the mixture into four patties, ensuring they are roughly the size of your palm.
To prevent sticking, lightly brush the grill with oil. Place the chicken patties on the grill and cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Once cooked, remove the patties from the grill and allow them to rest for a few minutes. This resting period will help the patties retain their juiciness.
